What is a Cake Pop/Bite?
It's A Fully Baked Cake
Cake pops are made by first baking a cake or brownie. Next, it is crumbled and mixed to make a truffle-like consistency dough. Finally, once shaped, it is dipped in candy coating and decorated.
Hand Rolled and Shaped
Occasionally I will use a mold, but for the most part every cake pop I make is hand-rolled and shaped. Whether making a Ball, Tube of Lipstick or Character, I utilize the necessary amount of time and patience to make sure it is perfect for your event.
Decorated and Painted
It requires careful thought and diligence to mix colors, make edible embellishments and paint the decorative details to capture the essence of your theme. And again, it's all done by hand.
Planning and Prepping
In addition to careful planning, there is also a lot of prepping depending on the level of detail. In some cases, it can take up to 1 week to complete one order. This is why an advance notice is so necessary.
Cake Pops are Sensitive
This is an example of what can happen if left in the heat too long. (Sitting on my kitchen counter where the sun was coming through.) The candy coating can melt or crack when exposed to heat. Avoid leaving your cake pops in the car or other warm environments and never display your cake pops outside during the summer months.
Baked Fresh with Love
Each order is made fresh and can be individually wrapped to maintain safe handling and avoid mess.
Cake Pops can stay fresh:
Up to 1 week at room temp.
Up to 2 weeks refrigerated.
Up to 3 months in the freezer
(seal in a freezer safe bag and allow them to thaw in the fridge before removing.)
